MD Redondo Ball

The MD Redondo® Ball - made in Germany - is a class 1 medical device and is used as a non-active therapeutic device for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, as prophylaxis in the professional sector and in the private/amateur sector. We have implemented the requirements of the new EU Medical Device Regulation 2017/745 (MDR).

The product is used by physiotherapists (or similar qualification) in rehabilitation or physiotherapeutic facilities, as well as by patients (age 6 years and older) in the home environment.

In therapy, the MD Redondo® Ball is used in orthopedics and neurological rehabilitation, among other measures, to train mobility, strength and coordination and also serves to promote sensory perception, coordination and the musculoskeletal system.

The MD Redondo® Ball is made of the soft, foamed and at the same time odorless material Ruton. Through a plug closure, the air filling can be individually regulated. The product is latex-free and made of 100% recyclable plastic.

It serves as an ideal Pilates partner, for pelvic floor and abdominal muscle training as well as for neck massage and deep relaxation. The soft yet sturdy ball is very durable and versatile in the areas of Pilates, wellness, fitness and MindBody.

The "foldable" ball for therapy, Pilates and pelvic floor training is versatile. With little air, the ball can be used as a support pillow for the back or neck. It can withstand a body weight of up to 120 kg (when exercising lying down). Clamped between the thighs, it is also used to fix and strengthen the muscles. The elastic skin also makes it ideal for gripping and catching exercises. The light and soft ball can be used well indoors even when thrown. An exercise poster is included.
